Hello and welcome to the new tbc website. This is where we will announce albums, and also let you buy them straight from us (coming soon). You will of course know who we are, and if you don't, I suggest you find out. How? you may ask, well, do you want to know? ok then. Visit this website to find out about the rock star game. Sign up, I do pledge thee. if you do sign up for the rock star game, you will be able to compare thy own band to tbc, and realize just how silly and rubbish you are. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that tbc's band ID is 43390.

Welll, it seems there are now two rockstargames. In the old game, there is tbc, ID number 43390, but in the new game (version 2.5) there isn't a tbc, but run by the same guy (me) is texas book suppository, ID number 1089, so you can check them out if you want. I may eventually do a little site about them, but don't hold much hope for it. look how often I update this one

Our Mission

Well, as with any rock star, tbc wish to get a world number 1 with their albums or singles, and are working hard to achieve this aim. unfortunately the 3 albums released so far have only reached the top 1500, but this will be fixed, some day.

Short History

tbc consists of our lead singer, Toby Karn, our lead keyboardist/organist, Ben Adams, and our drummer/backing singer Charles Hockenheim. The group was formed in 1993, when Toby won a talent contest (by playing the spoons no less). his prize was an all expenses paid trip for him and up to 2 friends to visit a top recording studio, and have a half hour of studio time. Their efforts would be put on 3 separate CDs to take home to show off. He picked his long time pals Ben and Dennis Walters (now drummer with the band not real people) to come with him. They called themselves 'Blimp Attack, yet again they killed my wife' after a poem written by Dennis, which will soon appear on this website.

Their efforts were so good in the studio, that they were soon signed by Bloody Mary Records. Under this name they released their first album, 'You call this sorry state of affairs an album, hah', which although being a good album, because at this time they were relatively unknown only sold 396,151 copies. This album was only ever released in the UK and is now unavailable in the shops. But because the initial run was 500,000 copies of the album, we have some copies available through this website (online ordering coming soon).

Soon after this album failed to do spectacularly well, Dennis Walters decided enough was enough, and left blimp attack to form his own band, not real people. Toby and Ben continued on bravely, producing an album of their own, using tapes of Dennis' jamming as background beats. this album, 'oh no, the s are coming', did slightly better, selling a whopping 32,518,481 copies throughout the world. This album can still be found in shops, as well as being available on this site (online ordering coming soon). Just before the album was due to be released, the two remaining band members realized that Dennis owned the copyright to the name Blimp Attack, and that they would need a new name for the band. After spending a night in their local arguing over names, Toby and Ben decided that the next phrase they heard would be their name. And at that moment, the bartender shouted "Time gentlemen, please!", giving the two drunkards a name for their band.

Once they realized what a success their album was, and noticed that they had used up all the tapes of Dennis' playing the drums, they asked Dennis back, to be their drummer. But he was too busy with his own band to care. This left them no option but to steal a drummer from another band. They selected Charles Hockenheim from German band, Die Schwuße Brudern. As an added bonus he could even sing, albeit in German, but he'd learn English soon enough. This brought the present 3 members of the band together for the first time. And to mark their new friendship, they decided to change their name, and in true Emerson Lake and Palmer style, named themselves tbc, or Toby Ben and Charles. They later denied this, saying it stood for to be confirmed, but we, the people who make the official website (tbc themselves) don't believe them. The egomaniacs.

Under their new name, they practiced until they thought themselves good enough to release an album, the wonderful, if slightly strange 'the greatest shit ever, no typos (except the one)'. All reports say this album is a winner, outselling oh no by over 10 million copies so far. And again, this album is available from this site (coming soon). That is the short history of tbc, and we hoped you enjoyed reading it. we will update it when the next album is released, see you then.
